I don’t live in the Bay Area, can you still shoot my wedding or event? 

Yes, for weddings outside of the San Francisco Bay Area a travel fee will apply depending on the location at a rate of 55 cents per mile.  

Do you carry liability insurance?

Yes. I am fully insured through Professional Photographers of America and Hill & Usher. I will provide a copy of the certificate of insurance within the contract. 

How long does it take to receive the photos?

It takes approximately 2 to 4 weeks to receive the link to your online gallery. Printed proofs will be provided to you during your album design appointment. Any other products will be mailed directly to you within 3 to 4 weeks after ordering.

For Engagements, Family Portraits, and other sessions, your online gallery link will be sent to you within 2 weeks.

How many pictures will I receive?

For a full wedding day, in addition to your high-resolution retouched digital files of the images that will be included in your album, you will receive 600 or more unretouched photos in your online gallery and a booklet with printed proofs. The online gallery will be available to download photos for 90 days. After the expiration period, a $100 fee will apply to reupload a gallery.

What is the difference between retouched images, printed proofs and the digital gallery? 

Your retouched images are curated images to be part of the printed wedding album. Retouching refers to improving the aesthetics of an image. These improvements might include skin enhancing, adjusting brightness, contrast, popping up colors, and so on. All of these photo retouch-up actions are done in software like Photoshop to make the images more polished. 

Printed proofs is a booklet with all of your unretouched, right out of the camera images. This booklet is perfect to share with family and friends that may want to order prints without the need of a computer. 

Your online gallery will include both of your retouched and unretouched images, which will be available for download, and for ordering prints. 

What if we don’t like posing and are both a little awkward?

That is perfectly fine! I will talk you through it and make you feel as comfortable as I can. I will suggest a few poses to make sure you’re both looking and feeling confident, but then will give you direction and play around to let it naturally unfold from there. Forget about the cameras and remember why you fell in love. If this is something you’ll worry about - I highly recommend booking in an engagement session with me! This will give us a chance to get to know each other and answer any other questions/worries you may have.

Do we need to feed you?

Yes, please! We will be on our feet all day and need our creative juices to keep on flowing! Your venue will offer vendor meals. All we ask is that you let your coordinator know that we need to eat at the same time as the bridal party and guests as we need to be available to continue shooting.

What if it rains?

Nothing will get in the way of making your day special! We will use umbrellas or look for the perfect undercover area. As long as you’re happy to roll with the punches then we are too! A little wet hair and romantic rain kisses are super romantic anyway.
